How to Play
Each day players arrange all six chess pieces onto a 5×5 board with six different colored cages. The pieces must be placed so that each cage contains exactly one piece and no piece attacks another. Chess pieces attack according to standard chess rules and the grid will highlight each piece's potential attacks.
Each puzzle starts with the pawn already placed to ensure a unique solution. Puzzles are solvable through logic alone — though guessing may be necessary as you develop your ability to visualize how pieces attack.
If you're stuck, enable auto-check with no penalties, or reveal the piece for a cage. Revealing a cage incurs a 45-second penalty. Finish fast — your solve time is your score for the leaderboard!
Remember, the goal is not to fill every row and column, but to ensure that each cage is occupied without any pieces threatening each other.
